Born in Los Angeles and raised in Pittsburgh, PA, Dr. Gaetan Pettigrew has built a remarkable career defined by both artistry and medical excellence. Before entering the field of medicine, Gaetan was a professional dancer; first training at the Ailey School , home of the Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater. Then, he traveled the world as a professional dancer with the renowned Bill T. Jones/Arnie Zane Company, cultivating a deep appreciation for the power and precision of the human body

Driven by a desire to serve others through healthcare, Gaetan returned to Pittsburgh to pursue a medical degree at the University of Pittsburgh, where he specialized in Obstetrics and Gynecology. He completed his residency in Cleveland, Ohio, and later practiced at the prestigious University of California, San Francisco. His dedication to advancing the health of marginalized communities led him to complete a fellowship in Gender Affirmation and Pelvic Reconstructive Surgery at Case Western University.

Now back in his hometown, Dr. Pettigrew is merging his clinical expertise with his lifelong passion for aesthetics and wellness. As the founder of Frame Aesthetics, he is redefining beauty and self-care through a holistic, evidence-based approach. His vision is to empower patients to look and feel their best—inside and out.
